This week
Sunshine! Time off work! Having said that, all I seemed to do at the plot was dig up weeds. Frantically clearing beds that have been under weed membrane so I can start getting stuff in them, especially perennials and shrubs. The membrane hasn’t been there long enough to totally kill things off, but it’s made the job a lot easier. Written down, it feels like I didn’t do much at the plot, but the hours of clearing have started moving the needle. I’m taking this weekend off farm work to concentrate on my own garden, which you can see some of on IG stories. And I’m eating a chocolate egg from the annual garden egg hunt as I write this.
