This week
Sunshine! Real, actual vitamin D, with no rain! Ok, maybe it will be brief, and I know it’s a fool’s spring, but it’s been great for the flower farming morale to get out into the light. However, there is the same weird effect of time starting to speed up as the garden jobs get ever more urgent and numerous, and I’m starting to get a bit antsy. Having to remind myself there’s plenty of time yet before spring proper. I’ve spent a fair bit of time this week taking time to plan what needs to come next, so that faced with time to work on the plot or in the greenhouse I actually know what the next jobs are, and don’t just faff about. At least, that’s the idea.
