Welcome to Sundays at Lark Rose, an in-depth round up of what goes on in my developing flower farm business for paid subscribers. I’m Olivia and this is all about Lark Rose, a flower farm in South Ayrshire near the West Coast of Scotland that I started in my back garden in 2021. I started developing an overgrown half-acre walled garden plot in 2023, and I’m learning every day how to run a tiny business. This week
I always think March is my least-favourite month, then I get here and remember it’s February. Rain, rain and more rain, kids at home for half-term (just a long weekend here, but taking up both my LR work days), no money, meh. But at the end of the week finally a nice day, the landscape fabric had only slightly blown about at the plot, a great book to read, and my turn on the on-call rota done for another couple of months, hooray!
